I’ve been meaning to pay some special attention to plus size swimwear so I’ve decided to mention them in a separate post. A close friend of mine has gained some extra weight during the past year and her constant whining over the poor selection of plus size bikinis inspired me to do some research in that area.

First, what I want you to understand, ladies, is that we come in different shapes and sizes but we are all beautiful and we are all trying hard to look our best. Having to deal with many women’s ever-changing preferences is what kept the fashion industry running for all these years, so it’s quite logical to think that if you need something that must be somewhere out there. And once you find that perfect piece of swimwear, you’ll look darn hot regardless of your dress size.

Second, black is the most dominant color in plus size swimwear, not because somebody is trying to prevent you, ladies, from sticking out of the crowd, but simply because it gives that great visual slimming effect. Yes, we all have that problematic areas we would like to see gone. And is there anything better than looking a few pounds slimmer without actually having to sacrifice in order to lose them?
